What is Regenerative Measurement & Evaluation?

What are the principles of regeneration and how can we apply them to the way we create and evaluate impact?

Regenerative Measurement and Evaluation stands for a way of approaching and conducting measurement that is rooted in the notions of interconnectedness and life-affirmation. It’s less about new tools and methods for evaluating impact, and more about seeing any form of measurement as an opportunity to foster participation, reveal hidden potential and better understand how to serve people and the planet.

Unity Effect sees this as a contribution to addressing our current global challenges such as the climate crisis or social injustice: Equipping practitioners who are working towards a just and thriving future with tools and maps to serve them on their path.

In the workshop, you will explore:

  • The fundamentals of a regenerative approach to measurement and evaluation, including a model to measure capacity development
  • The different applications, ranging from impact evaluation to strategy development and fostering teamwork & collaboration
  • The Impact Garden model and how you can apply it to a project, idea or your work in general

There will also be the chance to connect and exchange with peers, and to directly apply the content to your work. No previous knowledge is required, yet if you have a lot of experience in the topic, of course Unity Effect would love to learn from you!

And there’s a surprise gift waiting for you if you attend the workshop!

This workshop will be facilitated by Jannik Kaiser, co-founder of Unity Effect.
